The End

I figured I would post one last post.... to say goodbye. The internet is no longer a place I wish to be. To many people see a person on the net as just characters on a screen. They forget we have feelings and that we don't like being treated like a doormat...

Only 1 of you will truly be missed. My only friend. Sure some people cared, but in the end they had to hide that they knew me... To those who saw me as a person without feelings I hope you realize that you have hurt me... But in the end you have won...

Getting Better

So for those of you who don't know I suffered a seizure last week. My girlfriend came home from work and found me unconscious on the floor. She called 911 and I spent a few days in the hospital while they ran a lot of tests. So far the early diagnosis is that the seizure was related to my MS.

While I was in the hospital my girlfriend emailed a lot of people about my health scare and only a few people took the time to write back to see how I was or call me in the hospital.

To those who didn't respond or still haven't reached out to me I say a big....

F*CK OFF!

A lot of people I thought were my friends, and a lot of people I thought cared about me, but this latest incident shows me who my true friends are. And to those who can't understand that I need to lay back and recover yet, I wonder what is wrong with them that they are so selfish and lack understanding to see I need time and space to come to terms with this.

Only a few people I have allowed back into my life right now, and those are the people I will reach out to and talk to and begin to accept my condition with. If you can't handle this in your "me first" world, then I really don't need you or want you in my life.

Lacuna Coil

Christina Scabbia & Amy LeeSometimes I wonder why one of two bands that are similar in music and talent don't rise to success at the same rate as the other. The perfect example is Lacuna Coil & Evanescence.

I guess it comes down to exposure. Evanescence was lucky with their exposure via the Spider Man soundtrack. But why did they get the break while Lacuna Coil who has been around 4 years longer went by unnoticed. I think in America the whole music scene is blind to what is going on around the world.

Once you leave the United States music is completely different. Where the American music scene is heavily reliable on rap music, the rest of the world appears not to be. Perhaps with this whole Don Imus thing people will begin to shy away from rap music and realize that Don Imus has become a victim of rap. If rap artists can refer to people has nappy haired ho's why can't Dom Imus. But that is not the point of this post and I went off on a tangent.

I think had Lacuna Coil been based in America instead of Italy they would of rose to fame quicker then Evanescence and Christina Scabbia would of been more known then Amy Lee. The biggest problem however is the tunnel vision that Americans have when it comes to all things in general.

Don't get me wrong, I am an American. A proud American. But I keep my mind open and my ears open to new things... So I ask you now, open your mind, your eyes and your ears and check out the new video track from Lacuna Coil...

Spring Has Sprung!

Well waking up this morning to a flat tire wasn't the way I had hoped to start the day. I had to wait an hour for AAA to show up to change my tire to the spare. I wish I could of changed it myself, but dealing with MS made it a non-option.

So after that was done I had to head over to the tire place and get a new tire since my tire was slashed. This event has me worried because I spoke to my neighbors and they told me there cars were fine. One of my neighbors who is this nice elderly man even went door to door to see if anyone else who was home had a similar problem and no one else did. So either this was a random act of violence or someone is targeting me. It could be because my girlfriend lives with me and we often walk down the street hand in hand or it could be someone is being vindictive to one of us. But I guess I can't lose any sleep over it.

After I got this out of the way I was finally able to begin the day. It is gorgeous in NYC with temperatures near 70 degrees. The sun feels strong and my allergies haven't kicked in as of yet. One of my favorite things about spring is the change of fashions. I love the fact I am able to lose the coat, the sweater, and all the 'hide me' clothing. I like to people watch in this weather as well, and it is more enjoyable in the spring, but even more enjoyable in the summer.

The weather has inspired me to take some photographs as well, but not yet. I have me camera charging at home. So today was a cruising day mixed in with work. My boss looked at me all crazy this morning when I met up with him as I had the radio blasting, the windows down and a smile on my face...

As far as what I had on when I showed up, just check out the video. It further reiterates I was born a decade and a half to late...

Old Skool!

In an attempt to keep my sanity while home sick I was channel surfing and I wound up settling on the Reds vs Red Sox and I thought to myself, wow.. how old school..

So I got to thinking about all things old school and once again i realize I was born at the wrong time. Old school things are so much better then things with an X factor. Give me a hockey game between the original six teams, or a football game between the packers/giants. It just has such a different feel to it. Let's see Yankees vs Red Sox or Marlins vs Rockies. Ducks vs Panthers or Bruins vs Canadiens? I'll take the old school match up any day of the week...

But it doesn't stop with sports. Sneakers. Converse or the Pump. Cars too.. a 67 Camaro or a 2007 Camry? Even when it comes to clothing, look at how many people are shopping vintage!

Music... Run DMC or 50 Cent? Even those in new school realize where it is at. I'm not a big fan of Christina Aguilera as I consider myself a rocker chick, but her video is the ultimate in old school...
